BIO
Hello, I’m Carina, a visual artist originally from Salta, Argentina.
I spent my childhood in the charming town of Aguaray, surrounded by lush nature, rich traditions, vibrant culture, and the warmth of my extended family.
From an early age, I had the privilege of connecting with artisans from the Indigenous communities of my province. That experience profoundly shaped my artistic education and awakened a lasting curiosity to explore new paths through art.
After moving to Tucumán, one of the leading provinces in northern Argentina, I began an immersive period of artistic training, studying a variety of disciplines. This search continued in Buenos Aires from 2000 onward, where my passion led me to emerge within the independent art scene.
Since July 2023, I have been based in Mexico City, where I seek to engage with and actively contribute to the vibrant local and Latin American art community. I am inspired by this new chapter in my life and by the creative possibilities that such a culturally diverse environment offers.
My artistic practice is a continuous exploration of the influences I have absorbed throughout my life, bringing together elements of my cultural heritage with new ideas and contemporary techniques.
Through different forms of visual art, I seek to express my vision and share my personal narrative with the world.
Thank you for visiting my website and for your interest in my work. I hope you enjoy exploring my creative universe.
For inquiries, artistic collaborations, or open calls, please feel free to get in touch. I look forward to connecting and discovering new opportunities together.
